Job Summary
- To provide executive, administration and secretarial services to MIFT, to fulfill its objectives as prescribed in the MIFT Constitution.

Requirements
- Able to work independently with minimum of supervision
- Computer literate – esp. MS Office, ability to handle accounting software will be an advantage
- Well versed or have a basic understanding of the various topics in Food Science & Technology
- Be willing to be flexible with working times

The company is looking for dynamic, ambitious, experienced and high-caliber individuals with well proven track records for the following challenging position at the Penang based headquarters:

FACTORY MANAGER
(Penang - Butterworth)

Responsibilities:
• Lead and direct the Operations consisting of Planning, Production, Physical Distribution, Engineering, Logistics, Warehousing, Maintenance and Health & Safety;
• Direct Operations by ensuring that the teams work closely with the Sales and Technical teams to analyze demand, and develop the manufacturing strategies, including supply chain, product rationalization, material flow, information flow, manpower staffing, and equipment to meet Customer requirements;
• Instill flexibility through cross training, and empower associates to meet SBU requirements and goals for Safety, Customer Delivery, Quality,and Waste reduction;
• Lead the teams of maintenance and engineering staff to maintain the facility’s infrastructure, buildings, utilities, process equipment, and instrumentation;
• Troubleshoot process related problems, and formulate corrective action plan to avoid recurrence of shortcomings in processing line;
• Drive industrial relations harmony and accountability for all plant KPIs and ensures adequate training and development at all staff/operations levels;
• Champion company’s efforts in environmental, health, and safety by active leadership in the community;
• To ensure all ISO and HACCP procedures in the respective manufacturing facilities are properly complied with and maintained effectively.


Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering. Additional qualification in management will be an added advantage;
• Must have minimum 15 years of working experience with more then 7 years in a Senior Manager capacity;
• Must have experience in Plant Operations Management and Engineering;
• Excellent people skills including labor relations and dealing with the unions, strong leadership style, outstanding communication skill and high integrity is a must;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2000 is an added advantage;
• Must be willing to work in Butterworth.
